He survived being thrown down a pit, exploding, and then being blown up with the Death Star.durdencommatyler wrote:I don't understand.Let's all laugh at Rangers wrote:I've still not seen any explanation as to how Palpatine is gone this time.
Very controversial to claim that some aspects of TROS were not thought out very well.durdencommatyler wrote:I... The character isn’t given a satisfactory answer or end.
I hope this means the door is open to more. Same time I don’t expect to get one
Dear reader I’m sorry for the hotness of this take

He didn’t survive what happened to him in Return Of The Jedi.B wrote:He survived being thrown down a pit, exploding, and then being blown up with the Death Star.durdencommatyler wrote:I don't understand.Let's all laugh at Rangers wrote:I've still not seen any explanation as to how Palpatine is gone this time.
Are we really supposed to believe that he couldn't survive shocking himself with his own force lightning? .... again!?
OK. He "survived."Anders wrote:He didn’t survive what happened to him in Return Of The Jedi.B wrote:He survived being thrown down a pit, exploding, and then being blown up with the Death Star.durdencommatyler wrote:I don't understand.Let's all laugh at Rangers wrote:I've still not seen any explanation as to how Palpatine is gone this time.

Could he be cloned again? Possibly.B wrote:OK. True.Anders wrote:We’ve already got Marvel for that.
I'd really like to discuss why whenever his lightning gets reflected back on him, he keeps using it while it's hitting him in the face.Anders wrote:Could he be cloned again? Possibly.B wrote:OK. Attack is the best defence, and Palpatine can’t imagine not winning through with his attacking power. This is typical for the sith in Star Wars, and for Kylo Ren in TLJ.B wrote:I'd really like to discuss why whenever his lightning gets reflected back on him, he keeps using it while it's hitting him in the face.Anders wrote:Could he be cloned again? I guess in ROTS he was framing the Jedi for an attack, but in TROS, he literally blew himself up.
But his own lightning is hitting him in the fucking face!Anders wrote:Attack is the best defence, and Palpatine can’t imagine not winning through with his attacking power. It’s basically the same as what happened with him in every other fight he was in.B wrote:But his own lightning is hitting him in the fucking face!Anders wrote:Attack is the best defence, and Palpatine can’t imagine not winning through with his attacking power. Who is asking you to believe that?B wrote:He survived being thrown down a pit, exploding, and then being blown up with the Death Star.durdencommatyler wrote:I don't understand.Let's all laugh at Rangers wrote:I've still not seen any explanation as to how Palpatine is gone this time.

There are a lot of ways to look at it. But I don't think B is interested that. My guess is he doesn't have any time for any possible explanation.Anders wrote:It’s basically the same as what happened with him in every other fight he was in.B wrote:But his own lightning is hitting him in the fucking face!Anders wrote:Attack is the best defence, and Palpatine can’t imagine not winning through with his attacking power.
