Well that was disappointing

Looks like the meme template originated in August 19 in the wake of popeyes running out of a sandwich. I think we can safely say that at that time it wasn't racist.

It could have changed it's views since then though.

Was it funny b/c people don't send their kids to school during a pandemic, but they still eat food?

Or was it funny b/c stupid homeschool parents are now heading into predominantly black neighborhoods to gentrify Popeyes?
Are you being intentionally obtuse? It's mocking people who fear sending their kids to school for fear of contacting Covid but are more than happy to line up and risk getting Covid for takeout food. Choosing convenience over safety but then freaking out about school.
Is there a way to eat that doesn't risk COVID? Is the line at Popeye's more risky than the line at McDonalds? Is that why it is funny?
It probably relates to the attention Popeyes received when they released their new sandwich last year. Many instances of patrons fighting with the staff and each other. There was a bit of an obsessive quality about their famed sandwich and shortages of it.
is the meme supposedly racist because more white people than black people tend to obsess over those sandwiches?

Wait, did you actually consult a black person? Or are you just offended on this imaginary person's behalf?

When I saw the Popeye's / Parent Conference meme, my interpretation was this:

Parents don't care enough about their children's education to set up an appointment to see the teacher for parent/teacher conferences....but they'll wait in drive thru lines for fast food.

Just a priorities type of meme too me.

There's only one overtly racist post on that page, and it's still up. This is what happens when you leave white liberals in charge of everything.

I wouldn't send that to any black person I know. Because I know them. If I'm wro g, please proceed.

One of those memes is very racist, though it's not immediately clear why. Will the mods pick the right one?

If diversity and inclusive is a goal, we can't see racism everywhere. Or you just get to the point where no one can be shown in a bad light. That includes unintentional photos where someone somewhere can believe it is about a group of people even when no people are shown in it.

I always knew Leo was another racist Hollywood lefty.

This one unfairly characterizes the black candidate as a murderer.
