I need Eddie not to sound like complete shit. He sounds crappy on s/t but he sounded fine to me on the faster stuff on backspacer so I should be ok.
I listened to S/T last night. I think the engineering crew had more to do with him sounding bad.
Yup. All the base is taken out of his voice so he sounds screechy. Black metal as opposed to Death metal. It's going to sound jarring and abrasive, and not in a good way.

One thing that seems true of this song is that his voice sounds deeper. It almost reminds me of his growl on DTE, I think. But we'll wait and see.

i've come around on get right quite a bit over the years.
If I am honest with myself it is probably #4 or Riot Act for me.

Upon first hearing "Get Right" it was an instant candidate for my least favorite Pearl Jam song. A decade later, it remains a strong contender.

I can barely hear the solo from this rip other than him starting with that bend that he always does when hes about to shred.
