i was at all of those new york shows as well
except 2022
i liked the part where they played pearl jam
that brooklyn 2 show was fucking amazing though... i think they didn't play any song from after 1998
just as it should always be

I watched the PBS Memorial Day concert and for a second I thought Mike was there. But it was John Slattery from Mad Men.

DOTC seemed like a really cool new direction for the band. More of that and less ATW-esque aping of the early 90s sound, please.

I agree on Dance, want more like that, but the rest of the Gigaton record sounded pretty familiar.
Hey it's new music, at the end of the day, it's hard to complain.

listened to first 4 off gigaton today and gotta say the word salad jumped out and Ed’s vocals felt way too pronounced in the mix
disappointing bc my recollection was i liked the production
maybe my earbuds are failing
put on VS right after and did not disappoint
more Vs sound all day would be welcome

There's going to be 2 seconds of Lost Dogs 2 discussion with the interviewer asking about it and Stone giving some "Yeah, it'd be awesome but we don't have any plans right now for it right now" comment.

I hate it when interview opportunities like that are being missed. Just ask about vault tracks and Stone or Mike will tell for sure. But no...then the interviewer asks for something like how big of an influence was Jimmy Page? Or what's your favorite baseball player this season?
That being said.. Kyle Meredith (or Jonathan Cohen) is one of the better ones...

Album #12 is “nearing the finish line”. Stone has “no idea” what’s in the PJ vault and says there could be a Lost Dogs Vol. 2 but doesn’t sound like he makes those decisions.

Yeah, he said they've been recording for a year or so. Not constant recording but they're getting close to the finish line. He said it's been a joy to make a record with Watt with how enthusiastic he is. He said Watt is energizing the band. Stone said he's more of a pop fan than Watt is.
