If covid has taught us anything it's that we have zero ability to address climate change coherently and probably shouldn't worry about it that much.

I don't mean to exonerate Biden on the whole process. There was a super miscalculation on how well the Afghans were going to step up.
The media's coverage of the Trump peace deal that set all this in motion over the last year didnt help either.

My understanding is that last year Trump negotiated a May 2021 completion date so it's not like Sleepy could undo that and not restart the war.
