My three and a half year old Focus isn’t going to win me any style points but as of today it’s paid off.

Having the car paid off is a glorious thing.

I drove three hours to get to the beach today, but when I got there I saw that there were a lot of women in bikinis all over the beach. So, even though I had already paid $15 to park, I immediately turned around and drove back home. Damn, I was really hoping it would be only dudes today.
It's especially a bummer because I really needed a relaxing day after what happened yesterday. I was walking down the sidewalk and I realized that I was walking about thirty or forty feet behind a woman so I went to cross the street. But then I saw there was a woman on the other side of the street, too, so I started to turn back. I didn't want her to think that I was crossing the street to follow her. But I didn't want the original woman to think I was following her either, though, so I started to walk faster to try to catch up and then get in front of her. But she was walking pretty fast and was kind of way ahead of me so I had to run. She looked back at me and started running, too. So I had to run even faster. But she started running faster. I did eventually get in front of her but it took like four solid minutes of running and by then I had gone in a completely different direction than I intended.
I got some bad news today, too. I got a ticket in the mail from one of those red light cameras. Last week when I pulled up to the red light I noticed that the car stopped in the lane beside me was being driven by a lady so I was forced to hit the gas and speed through the red light. I didn't want her to be uncomfortable and think I had stopped my car so that I could be close to her or something. So, there goes $350.
They don't make it easy, but it's worth it.

I looked up the next Mardi Gras date and the list went through 2059.
That’s it, every Fat Tuesday for the rest of my as I doubt I will make it until then.

If this place is full of people who found that Argo thing genuinely funny, I may have to roll up on out.

It’s certainly full of people who didn’t find those Mariners puns worthwhile.

Don't worry. They know that I'm sensitive and could tell that I worked hard on it, so they were being nice

walking into the building this morning for work and this older african-american woman looks at me in bewilderment. "Are you two twins?"
I was puzzled and turned around and there was a guy also going into my building maybe 2 inches taller than me but same salt and pepper lightly trimmed beard and shaved head
i wanted to say you know we dont all look alike
