The writing and booking of NXT is far superior to WWE though, and they could use a lot more of what NXT is doing in that regard on the main roster.

I think Owens can get over big time on the main roster. He fills a lot of voids. I think Zayn and Balor can as well.


Something about Baron Corbin as well. I think he can be a Kevin Nash type. I couldn't stand Nash but I could see Corbin being brought in as someone's bodyguard (say Seth Rollins) and eventually turning on him. An idea that has been done 100 times but an idea they like to recycle.

Gained a new respect for Savage after watching him carry Warrior to an actual good match at Wrestlemania 7.

That match is wonderful. One of my all time favorites.

The further along I get the more tolerable this watching the wrestle manias in sequence thing gets.

i watched 6 a week or 2 ago because i put the network on and thats what they were showing and it was pretty hard to watch, it was classic 80s wwf, but it was Boring as shit since i didnt remember any of the build to the matches. though it did show how the fans completely took the story telling regardless of how the in ring performances were, the crowd was so hot for the Hulk/Warrior match and that would have had todays crowds giving the boring chants 2 minutes into it.

so Samoa Joe left TNA, any chance he will end up in WWE or will he probably go the Japan route like AJ Styles

It amazes me how over some of those guys that were just brutal in-ring got. I started 8 last night and it's the first one I've watched that feels like the 90s and not the 80s.

Yeah, I doubt Joe would want to do a year in NXT a just to get a shot at WWE.

I'm going to Mania this year in California, so to get hyped I've also been watching every Wrestlemania in sequence.

1-6 are quite painful to watch for the most part, aside from Savage/Steamboat, Hulk/Andre (just for the spectacle), Savage title win at Mania 4, Savage/Hogan, and Warrior/Hogan.

7 is the first really good Mania. Hot crowd, great matches throughout and one of the most memorable moments ever in Savage/Liz reunion. Crazy that people had legit tears in their eyes in the audience. People were so invested in those two.

I've always loved Mania 8, even though the folks in the E seem to look down on that one. I'm happy we didn't get Flair/Hogan because Savage/Flair is a classic, and I happen to love Hogan/Sid with the return of the Warrior at the end. That one always feels like the end of the first era of Wrestlemania, because from 9 onwards they felt very different to me.

I'm on Wrestlemania 24 now, and the venue looks great. I always like when a show starts in daylight and carries on into darkness. Can't wait to watch Flair/HBK and Taker/Edge again!

I really enjoy 8 as well. Don't care much for the main event, but really love Piper-Hart and I've always had a soft spot for Undertaker-Jake Roberts.

8 is good, the Michaels- Santana match is a pretty good opening match for that time period also.

Just watched the 92 Rumble and Savage/Flair from WM8 last night. What an underrated match. One of the best title matches in WM history. If only these two had met like 3-4 years earlier.

Dat promo. Maybe the best ever........

That match is really good. As is the HBK-Tatanka match. HBK was having the best match on the card most nights in the thin years of the WWF.

Bummer Eddie passed when he did. If you believe all the rumors the plan was for heel Eddie v face Shawn at WM 22.

To be honest, after watching both of them in the past few weeks, I think Savage-Flair is better than Savage-Steamboat.

Ugh I don't know. I love Savage/Steamboat. Considering like 5-6 of my top 10 favorite matches all time probably involve Savage and Steamboat I am probably biased. Also, I'm sentimental about WM3. It's my earliest wrestling memory.

The selling by Savage in the Savage/Flair match though is fantastic. The odds really seemed insurmountable for Savage. For someone who hated being a babyface Savage did a great job at it.

If you guys have not seen the Savage/Bret Hart match at Saturday Night's Main Event in November 1987 it's an all time fave. Savage with one of my favorite face performances ever. I was a Macho mark for life after that one. It was right before the Mega Powers formed.

Major props to Lesnar for making Wrestlemania 10x more interesting.

I swear I could go 5 years without watching the product at all, and still come up with a better build to Wrestlemania than the current crack writing staff has.

Also, my in sequence Wrestlemania watch is still going. I'm up to 15 now. After watching it the other day, my belief that Austin-Hart at 13 is the greatest match of all time has been reaffirmed.

awful is really the only word to describe the last few weeks. it's disappointing.
