I like the themes and delivery of Just Breathe. One of the only Pearl Jam songs that makes me get a little tear in my eye when I hear it.LoathedVermin72 wrote:You’re thinking of “Just Breathe”VinylGuy wrote:worst pj song.LoathedVermin72 wrote:"Future Days" is a very good song.
Both are really tremendous songs. It's weird how much of the PJ fan base likes one and hates the other. It's bizarre to me. Not that they are similar songs per se, but they do share similar characteristics and aesthetics. I think both are truly lovely songs and both are beaten up way too much.Anders wrote:There are several similarities between Future Days and Just Breathe. But where JB just seems to get better towards the end, FD becomes too sentimental and sweet. The music is simpler in JB, but that too suits the song well.
I can’t answer for anyone else, but I heard the songs twice before making my last post, and Future Days is near the bottom of the pile for me. Really difficult to listen to. Just Breathe is fine though.durdencommatyler wrote:Both are really tremendous songs. It's weird how much of the PJ fan base likes one and hates the other. It's bizarre to me. Don't die. It's not worth it. You hate Just Breathe and you like Future Days. And who cares. It's just so... whatever. You know?LoathedVermin72 wrote:Someone please kill me for bringing this up
Elderly Woman is so far and away better than all the other songs we're talking about here that it makes those others songs, which I love, look and sound like literal garbage. Elderly Woman is such an incredible tune. I love it so much!washing machine wrote:I’d probably have to side with LV on this one with Future Days love.
