just got my hands on the limited Burn the Witch 7", and goddamn does Spectre sound gorgeous & much more alive than the digital files we've had up to this point.
edit: obviously, but really makes me appreciate the song/Jonny's composition a lot more

Are your hands on fire? Because that commodity is hot hot hot. The warm analog tubey goodness is like pudding in my loins. It's like the sound of Radiohead playing right in my living room with an orchestra while someone is making popcorn in the background. The Japanese pressing comes with a beard trimmer and a Big Star CD. It's an orgasmic sensation for your ears and highly recommended for any fan.

I have a buddy who works at the record store, and he alerted me that someone had sold back their copy. So I obviously jumped on that, posthaste

Same here. It didn't have a lot of staying power, but I may love it when I revisit it someday.

It's a very specific mood album. And that mood is: profound despondency

I really do enjoy it but haven't been in the mood for it pretty much since the week it came out
But it is going to be the perfect listen for some days.

I haven't found the urge, the NEED to listen to it like I did with OK Computer, In Rainbows and Amnesiac when they first came out. But I still spin it from time to time and I enjoy the fuck out of it each time. It's a wonderful record.

Same here, I still give it a listen about once a week. It's also reignited my obsession with their back catalogue - the level that this band delivers every single album is incredible.
