Suddenly, protests don't seem so bad.
Well he doesn't support lynching niggers and despite your glee, for who the fuck knows reason, at Trumps rise to power you too laughed at the idea of him running.
Tonight we want to add our voices to the thousands of Americans who are protesting at airports around the country the Muslim Ban and the detention of foreign nationals and refugees. America is a nation of immigrants and we find this anti-democratic and fundamentally un-American.

Fun fact - this video is from Springsteen's Adelaide show last night (ie. where I live), in the same venue where I saw Nick Cave the night before.
Fucking trumptard spins a totally off topic yarn. *and you fell for it*

That's not a ban on LGBT
We just want to deny them adoption rights.

"My responsibility is to ensure that the position of the Department of Justice is not only legally defensible, but is informed by our best view of what the law is after consideration of all the facts," she said in a letter. "In addition, I am responsible for ensuring that the positions we take in court remain consistent with this institution's solemn obligation to always seek justice and stand for what is right."
"At present, I am not convinced that the defense of the executive order is consistent with these responsibilities nor am I convinced that the executive order is lawful," she wrote.
But Yates is only serving until Trump attorney general nominee Jeff Sessions is confirmed, meaning her decision is likely extremely short-lived because her order is enforced only until she leaves office.
The White House could choose to fire Yates and install someone who will carry out the administration¹s priorities, but it did not immediately respond to a CNN request for comment.

I mean, it's only funny because they keep harping on multistate registration as an example of voter fraud. But...

A Homeland Security official, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed the waivers, noting that the refugees were considered "in transit" and had already been cleared for resettlement before the ban took effect.
Refugees preparing for resettlement typically have severed personal ties and relinquished their possessions, leaving them particularly vulnerable if their plans to depart are suddenly canceled.
Either this is a "how much do we have to do to change the headlines" reaction, or it's something that any capable team would have included in the initial communication.

A cybersecurity order tomorrow as well.
If that LGBT order is coming, I hope this one at least is pretty unremarkable. Tensions don't really have a lot of room to escalate without it becoming something scary.

Effective immediately? So the position is vacant until it isn't?
Does her order stand until the replacement is in?

It was unquestionably a noise generation tactic, and she must have known how it would end.
But what a remarkable event. The attorney general of the United States has been fired for opposing the president's executive order.

If she wasn't going to be replaced in a couple of weeks anyway, would he have fired her?

Yeah, BiH's article suggests that she should have resigned instead.
