I think I'm more excited at the thought of Pat Riley being pissed that Ainge got a free agent over him than the actual free agent.

Opps I guess his agent is denying it. Should have known since it wasn't from Woj.

What are the Celtics going to do with the draft picks? Draft a guy at 2 next year and just play him in the D League?

They have to let go of half the team to fit Hayward.

With Hayward agreeing to the max contract, Celtics management has a series of transactions to orchestrate in order to create the necessary salary-cap space. Boston has already pulled its qualifying offer on Kelly Olynyk, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, making Olynyk an unrestricted free agent.

Boston must still renounce free agents Jonas Jerebko, James Young and Gerald Green and waive the contracts of (or trade) Jordan Mickey and Demetrius Jackson. The Celtics would be left with $27.6 million in cap room and likely need to move the contract of Jae Crowder, Terry Rozier or Marcus Smart. Trading Rozier would leave the Celtics $1 million short of a max salary slot.
My guess Smart or Bradley are gonna get traded in the next few days. Crowder's contract is too good and they can't pay Smart and or Bradley next summer.

Close...Dwight Howard may be an all-star again by default or Nikola Vucevic gets a nod. He's underrated in my opinion.

So the Wiz are matching on Porter I assume to keep Wall happy. Why even bother with the charade though? Is Wall a pussy millenial? Yes. He is good as gone.

Robin Lopez has a shot sadly. He's the best player on the Bulls.
