I’m not good at math but I saw someone else do the math and they came up with Ossoff winning by possibly 40-50k votes.

Now from 538
JAN. 5, 10:33 PM

Gabriel Sterling, Georgia’s voting system implementation manager for the secretary of state’s office, just tweeted that 171,000 or more in-person votes should be uploaded soon from DeKalb County.
171K good

Both Dems running slightly ahead of Biden’s numbers. That seems like a good sign.

NATHANIEL RAKICH - JAN. 5, 10:55 PM

Chatham County (home of Savannah) is done counting for the night and will pick things back up at 8 a.m. tomorrow. I estimate there are about 20,000 votes left to count there, and they should lean Democratic.
nbd we'll just get to the whole determining the fate of the free world tomorrow

We need a window for them to smuggle or destroy ballots.

Savanah, GA (the county that went to bed) is really old, from what I’ve heard. Don’t blame them. Dems seem on track to flip both seats. Maybe 2021 will be better (?).

it's pretty crazy that out of 4.2 million votes, ossoff and perdue are separated by only 450 votes.

Lots of state races in the general were sooo close. I also find this to be an amazing detail.

Edit - I mean the presidential race in swing states. WI, AZ, GA esp.
