I like this one a lot too. Very real parenting portrayals. Elle Fanning’s performance is wonderful. Offerman truly enters in ep 3 and is great so far.
ep 2 was great. Michelle Pfeiffer is truly awesome and when they work together with Elle, they really shine together

Why are you so excited for it if you’ve never watched the show?

I don’t know if I’d call it fun, goes hard though. It’s really good, I just have the finale left.

Why not? I think it's really funny and ridiculous. A lot of dark humor.

Has a bunch of silly plot contrivances -- a lot of "well what a coincidence that these characters happened to overhear each other, or leave behind this important item" -- but it doesn't matter. Finished it today and really liked it

The portrayal of the marriage is fairly honest and brutal.

Also Oscar Isaac.

They're both really good in it, especially Mulligan. No, you don't need to have watched season 1, but I recommend it because it's very good

We started S1 back when, but it stressed out my wife too much. There was a lot going on then and I wanted to keep going but she wanted to take a break. I'll definitely watch S1. But I think S2 might be a way get to my wife back in board because she loves the cast.

Good luck - we started season 2 and it started to stress my wife, so we've taken a wee break. Granted we have a lot going on at the moment emotionally

I know nothing about that show, but did see earlier today that Oscar Isaac is in it. He and Mulligan are top notch so guess I better put it on the list.

I don’t want to live in a world in which there is no Tim or Sam content. Shame this will only be 20 eps :(

Been rewatching Reno 911. Such an underrated show.

Funny seeing Charlie and the Waitress from Always Sunny in one episode.
