Force awakens broke the Christmas Day record in the US with $49.1 million.
Comfortably on its way to breaking Avatars record.

"Gosh, I wonder if Kevin Smith will like the new Star Wars movie," thought only Kevin Smith.

Has anyone, with the possible exception of George Lucas, ever fallen so far as Kevin Smith?

Tusk was probably his best movie, so...

I can remember a time when I could have listened to Kevin Smith ramble on for 40 minutes. I started watching this and bailed after the introduction.
Have I gotten old or have Kevin Smith gotten lame?

He seems like a nice, chill guy but I have no interest in hearing his thoughts on anything.

His was the first big spoiler back in production. Letting us know it was gonna be awesome. And that the falcon was in it.
He's super excited they put a Clerks reference in the film(wouldn't you be?) I liked his review. I do t know anything about him apart from he's a star wars super can and a few of his early films, clerks and mall rats. Other than that he's never offended me.

i liked his first movies for what they were...small, indie flicks with cool dialogue and full of movies and comics references...Chasing Amy was the one that i loved back then.
After that it was all downhill, and tusk is such a piece of garbage...And the fact that he is making Mallrats 2...well, its sad.

Mecca, if total disinterest in Kevin Smith can't bring a group of fat white people together on Christmas, then there is no hope for peace on earth.

Are we gonna attach his knowledge and love of Star Wars with the diminishing quality of his films?
I think that's probably quite foolish.
