LeBron says he won't play without fans in the arena if it gets bad enough the NBA decides to go the route of playing games in empty arenas. Remember, he went straight to the league from St. Mary's High. He's a dumb person.

School age kids seem to be doing fine with this since they are exposed to other forms of coronaviruses giving them some slight immunity. I imagine over the coming years it will will become rampant in schools. The kids will have no issue shrugging it off. They'll bring it home and kill grandma and grandpa. Bye Boomer.

Kids kings haven’t developed whatever receptors it is that the virus attaches too it seems.

But they can be carriers an therefore dangerous. How often do kids wash their hands for example

That's gonna create a FAFSA/credit nightmare. Do all these kids get the credits? Are they fully liable for the loans they took out for a semester that doesn't deliver final grades?

I have a friend who works at a small-ish flagship state university in the midwest, and it sounds like the plan the administration is floating is to move all classes online. Faculty is pushing back pretty hard, it seems.

I think that twitter from the engineer from previous page regarding running numbers on Coronavirus and healthcare system is probably on track.

The Coronavirus may be mild for most people, but we shouldn’t take it lightly and we should do our best to limit the spread. If only to keep the number of bodies out of the hospitals.

You flood the system with COVID19 cases, and not only are you dealing with that, but you are dealing with the normal flow of patients for other things like surgeries, infections, heart ailments, etc. This would reduce the effectiveness of health care workers to treat this and other things they normally handle on a day to day basis.

This could raise the mortality rate for the virus just because proper care isn’t available. It could also cause other patients to die from non-Coronavirus ailments because healthcare may try to divert focus to coronavirus.

It’s just better to be safe than sorry at this point. Take the precautions now and it nothing bad happens, breathe a sigh of relief.
