"Kamala Harris would dogwalk Trump in a debate" is worth consideration only insofar as it can be mocked
does anyone think trump stands a chance against harris in a debate? also who the fuck is this weirdo?
She didn’t debate well in the 2020 primaries, and if she couldn’t handle Tulsi Gabbard, Trump will probably wreck her. I never understood why they picked her. She got the most hype and and went nowhere in those primaries. The only worse choice than keeping Biden is bringing back Hillary, but Kamala isn’t far behind.

One of her policy proposals she brought out during debates was to ban private health insurance, which I'm sure polls well. Not the best public speaker, chooses debates as the time to roll out unpopular initiatives. Where does this myth of her as an impressive debater come from?

He might not be around much longer if the rumors are true.

I doubt her performance eagainst other Democrats in an honest environment where they're using kid gloves would predict her performance against Trump. She's controversy free, likely to be alive in 4-8 years, and not Joe Biden. She can win.

sadly, I don’t think the Dems have a good option before them

we can thank the NYTimes for cannibalizing what was left of Mr Biden and putting the bankrupt casino operator back in office

i didnt think trump had the independent swing votes to get in. and abortion would swing against him on the margin too

but courtesy a handful of childless serial apartment dwelling NYT editorial elites, the core Dem base now has permission to defect

thanks guys! Putin couldn't have done it any better. why use disinformation when you can just rely on reality-detached liberal twats to burn the whole thing down over the 10% they don’t like

‘we shit where we eat’

we are comparing her to biden and trump, it's not exactly a high bar.

this is kinda hiliarious. the media is running with this 'biden did terrible' thing and you are all ignoring how god awful trump was. i'm pretty sure harris would be able to fact check trump on the fly better than biden. almost anyone would have.

She has a record in the Senate. I'm fine with her qualifications. All that matters after that is can she be at Trump. And yeah, probably.

Unless the Republicans sue to keep her off the ballot and SCOTUS grants emergency cert.

Wasn't there all this talk about the 25th amendment a few years ago? Surprised that hasn't been brought up yet.

I'd say it has to be. I can't imagine how someone could dethrone the winner of all the primaries without that winner's permission.

Trump is not the candidate he was in 2020 much less the one he was in 2016. Age has hit him as well and that was obvious in the debate. He is weaker and abortion is a bigger deal now than it was and no matter what he says he still put the Justices that overturned Roe on the Court.

Harris on the other hand is a nothing. She has no notable accomplishments or failures. No one really knows anything about her. She was one of the first to drop out in 2020 because she was boring and is VP not because of her character but because of her intersections. That being said, those intersections are powerful for Blue team voters (first women prez!) and even if she never debated she would get 40-45% based on that alone. Paired with Cooper (or another southeastern "good white man") she could win this without having any substance to her platform at all.

Harris is a D-tier Hillary

and Hillary wasn't good enough

Harris not winning this

liberal media should just use AI to manipulate the next debate and make Biden look sentient

I don’t know if Harris can win or not. No one knows. At this point I would rather they run her than Biden, so… I do think it matters that in the “kid gloves” friendlier environment of the primaries she lagged behind all the rest. That’s a sign of not being able to generate enthusiasm. I feel Harris is a bet that America will take the safe choice and wait until 2028. I don’t like that bet.
