Umm Conor attacked a bus full of fighters causing several fighters to seek medical attention and the cancellation of several fights and then gets a title shot

And khabib went after a trained fighter who had been taunting him the whole fight. It's not like he went after Joe Public

Precisely. The UFC did nothing to McGregor after being arrested and injuring multiple fighters surrounded by a gang of thugs at a PPV. They cant do shit to Khabib.

Conor has bigger problems at home. And he’s either unaware of it or braving it out.

The gangs he launders the money for aren’t happy. This won’t end well unless something changes drastically.

I'd say have him work up to a title shot. He's fucked up enough that he shouldn't just get a title shot on his first fight back.
