I honestly do, yes. I'd put it at about 65%, which isn't great odds, I understand. But I think there's a better than fair chance.

Let's hope so. I ended up watching this yesterday (hadn't seen couple of these):

Edit: I wonder if Larry Taylor's death earlier this year also affected Tom's willingness to tour anymore.

It's top tier, Waits. I put it in a close second right behind Bone Machine. It was my favorite of his records for a long time. I'd also put it on my all time favorite albums (by any artist) list. It's gorgeous and theatrical and totally my jam.

Im such a fan of Waits previous work, i feel i need to pay more attention to his post Bone Machine releases...and yes its so fucking good. I love the chill vibe it has.

It's super dark and fucked up. I love it! I'm a big fan of the play it's based on, too. I read it in college and ended up doing a small paper on it for my Dramatic Structure class (which is sort of ironic given that Buchner died before finishing it).

I love Blood Money but to me it was always overshadowed by Alice, which is my favorite TW album

yeah, i love how dark it is....im listening to Swordfishtrombones now. Its a good mix between the early years and the modern sound from him i think.

Yeah man! That's a great record. I think it's my favorite of that particular Waits era/run. I know Rain Dogs is sort of unfuckwithable for most people. And rightly so. But I like Swordfishtrombones more, honestly. Not that one can go wrong with either of them.
