Billy wants to grind through another 6 month recording process for one more epic pumpkins record. James and Jimmy seemed less than enthused.
It was also funny to hear Billy's revisionist history on Lolla 94. I certainly don't recall the me against the world sets to piss off the jocks. He sounded like Al Bundy talking about his 4 touchdown game for Polk High.

yeah, there is no way james and jimmy are going through that again. Jimmy already said he hated it back then.
Billy seems to be already talking too much shit instead of focusing on a successful tour and the fact that they are putting out an album already.
Who cares about another one? You have 8 songs coming out...shut up and enjoy it.

He pretty much said the songs were just B Sides though. I can't believe Rick Rubin heard the songs and kissed his ass over them. They aren't very good. Even that Zane Lowe guy was just slurping on Billy for no reason and gushing about how amazing the new album is. We've heard like half of it, it's clearly not awesome and doesn't even sound average.

He didnt say they were b sides. He said there was no "theme" connecting them like SD or Adore. Thats why he put the Pisces Scariot reference where you have a bunch of songs together...but hell, PS sound pretty similar sound wise.
I liked Solara enough and i really like the new song so im alright with the new album. Im sure it will be better than Monuments for sure.
But yeah, its annoying to see how everyone is pissing themselves with Billy instead of having a real chat with him. Probably the guy doesnt want to anyway.

Agree with Verb. Billy's such an insufferable, narcissistic bell end. I feel bad for Jimmy and James.

I'm not so much religiously listening to it....I'll chuck the radio on if I'm in the car, but been flicking over to the online countdown now and then to see what's what and how truly bogan our country as a whole is

Soooo bogan. Reckon Metallica's "One" will take it out, or are we in for a "Lateralus" upset?

Wouldn't have picked that - Chop Suey was voted #1, Black was #2

I haven't listened to the interview but I understood that they played some (at that time) uncharacteristically noisy, aggressive sets on that tour, kind of a precursor to the heavier material on
Mellon Collie.
