I've always liked 90s REM (I was 14 when Monster came out), but it took a LONG time for their 80s albums to click with me.

Interesting, I'd say most Pearl Jam fans would be similar.

Also, I wouldn't expect a big Husker Du fan who was a teenager in the 80s to become a Pearl Jam fan.

The first album i head wsa Tim and it took me awhile.

If you are even remotely interested, i can all but guarantee you will come around and absolutely be floored by their music.

Yeah, i kinda agree. I like a few songs here and there, but they never grabbed my attention. Morrissey too.

Neither band is my cup of tea either. I don't know their catalogs very deeply but from what I know the surface elements just don't appeal to me.
