And let me clarified, TROS has the emotional resonance of a very very loud fart that resembles finn´s performance of his RAAAAAEEEEYY yelling.

Considering we’re on a Star Wars subforum on a Pearl Jam board, the only other subforum/forum about a franchise or band, that should say everything you need about the build up in Star Wars. It’s there since 1977, and this was the final episode. Turns out they made a great movie to wrap it up. So these complaints sound a bit hollow.

why is pearl jam or this forum relevant to my opinion on this loud fart?

B with his best impression of a 2013 RMer.

Classic B.
I can't help it if you're assessment of Endgame perfectly captures all my problems with TRoS. Actually, to be fair, I don't really feel that TRoS is more dull visually. It is definitely laughable that you think TRoS makes more sense and has more emotional resonance. It has NO emotional resonance. You and dime are the only people on Earth who felt anything for any of the characters in TRoS.
Just because you didn't feel something doesn't mean others didn't. Y'all want to throw anecdotal jabs? Cool cool cool.

No one I know outside of the internet likes Endgame. And there wasn't a dry eye in the house in any of the three RoS screenings I attended. So...

Glad we solved that.

Anders wrote:Endgame was solid entertainment, but the emotion and crying for Iron Man, I just don’t get.

TROS didn’t have any setup for crying, so naturally few cried.
Anders! :hooray:

Ooh!-Wee! You really hate Boyega. My but really got to you. You can't talk about this movie without misspelling Rey's make in all caps. I love it.

I love him. I was super exited to have him in these movies, and i kinda liked Finn in TFA. Then his character is a risible puppy. Even he agreed with that.

I think people who really like Finn were hurt by how his story was underused and contradictory to itself and this stupid "I have to tell you something, Rey" plotline was a distraction without a point.

It's okay to not like him, TVG.

I think those people were hurt by TLJ, not tRoS. Also those people need to calm the fuck down and pay attention to Rise.

It does seem like Boyega was happier with TROS than TLJ. Back with the gang etc.

His side quest in TLJ was a critical part of his learning about the world he's put himself into since leaving the New Order. He was in a great position to move his philosophy forward in TRoS and lead a Stormtrooper rebellion or become a force for the end of War.

Instead he just killed a bunch of his old buddies in the movie's finale.

And I don't know what your second sentence means.

His side quest in TLJ was the worst sequence of scenes in any Star Wars movie, and ended up in complete failure.

That was the vibe I got from his Vanity Fair (?) interview.

But no seriously, I agree with what you're saying, B, about Finn in TLJ. I also think it's vital to his journey. It bums me out that Boyega himself seems so dissatisfied and disenchanted by that film/experience.

Wow...
