This goes back a dozen pages or so to the discussion about the quality/complexity/importance of Pearl Jam choruses. Someone said that in many cases it's actually the bridge that tends to be the standout part of a song, and that kind of rang true in the moment (I read it last night). I just put on S/T here at work as was reminded how much I like the bridges in each of the first four songs on that album. I think they're far and away the best parts of all of those songs. Anyway.

it's been the low voltage in the busbar that's been turning some people off of the recent albums, I think

More brief-winded spreading will def help with that.
