after talking to the electorcardioligist and my regular cardiologist both agreed everything looks fine with my heart. as murphys law dictates the two week i wore the heart monitor everything appeared healthy (although two of my chambers were beating a little bit faster than the others). this past sunday was laying in bed and the heart rate jumped up to 118 for about 5-10 minutes

since i am taking xeralta there is virtually no danger from a elevated heart rate. while they do tell me that it is pretty difficult to believe that when it happens and you are at rest and your heart is beating almost 2.5 times a second

verdict seems to be pointing to another ablation which will help my psyche immensely

Just walk a few miles at a leisurely pace and talk shit like Doug. You'll be humming.

Bro, relax.
It’s a weird phenomenon I’ve been considering lately, but virtually all of my political discussion happens online. In my real life, no one cares enough to talk about it; people in my daily sphere have more interesting things to talk about. I’m always weirded out by these sorts of interactions
By the way my kid had the go ahead (game winning) hit in the top half of the final inning and struck out the side on 10 pitches to slam the door in the bottom half.

Doug his OPS through 4 games is 2.889

Every time something even vaguely political comes up in conversation I hit them with the "it's crooks on both sides, fuck politicians". Works every time. Much to Burt's dismay, I think the partisanship of modern-day politics is a fast track to brain rot. Echo chambers are cringey, do better.

Opposite for me. I avoid political discussions with strangers online but at get-togethers with friends the conversation tends to turn political at least once per evening. I like it. We keep disagreements friendly and at least I tend to learn something from every exchange.

How many of your friends lean right though. Be honest.

These people are impossible.

Not many, it's true. But there is a lot of disagreement outside of the left vs. right thing, especially when we talk about Argentinian politics.

My fully right-leaning friends are mostly my rich friends from back home, they think I'm a Bolshevik. It's fun when we get into it but it's not like I see them very often

Our main friend group on my wife’s side are nearly all blindly devoted to the D’s.

I get a lot of joy from our get-together conversations where I do my best to poke holes in everything they support. Not that I disagree with them on everything, just fun to play devil’s advocate and also fun to see how little they actually pay attention to things (and just tick the D box in every single race).

Sticker Mule has just committed a cardinal sin in some of the discussion groups I follow, by sending a politically slanted marketing email+ buy a Trump teeshirt promotion to stand up against the hate MAGA people are facing.

Although this is the first marketing communication I’ve ever seen like this from that company, the ownership is known to be staunchly MAGA. News to me, that’s good to know. I always looked forward to the hot sauce with my orders.

I mean it all goes both ways right? I can’t imagine what the staff at Sticker Mule is going through. I’m now in a quasi societal forced moral dilemma on what to do as a customer of theirs. Not a fan of this MAGA garbage but hey people you do you VS the ass kicking mule sauce.
