Is this sarcastic? Is your hatred of Driver's self-punchiness previously stated? I am so out of the loop on this thread.

No it's literally his single favorite thing in the entire movie.

That's one scene I might actually want to see. When I worked in group homes that was a common reaction to pain among the Downs clients. We had to keep a whole "stop hitting yourself" educational program going. It's hard for me to imagine that behavior playing out in a movie without being silly, but maybe Adam Driver can hack it.

It's just the only reference point I have for that behavior.

Delivery aside, I kinda wonder how many people just on this one site could come up with a more interesting one paragraph outline of a Star Wars movie than this one has. I suspect the answer is: "most."

I don't know if you guys care but I saw this again last night with my wife. She hadn't seen it yet and really wanted to before she got spoiled.

Can you reiterate your stance on this film due to my inactivity in this thread? I'm still trying to suss our your film likes and dislikes; feels like we are 50/50 in similar tastes.

Bonus question: Your wife is African-American, right? Any afro-centric opinions on Finn? I feel like there's something to be said about this, but I'll be damned if I know what it is.

My wife is not African-American. But her brother (adopted) is. I can ask him if he has any opinions if you like. I haven't had a chance to talk to him about it yet.

I could've sworn you were married to a black woman in that promo video you posted. No need to bother your brother-in-law; I'll just read the review in Jet.
Lol, the Flatbush Gardens video? I think every other person in the video was black, but none of them were associated with joey.
