For me it's not that the tape will mean he's 100% out of office, it's more that it seemed like the most ludicrous part of the dossier. And it's now very likely accurate and hopefully not deniable.
That said, I also wonder if revealing it then strips Putin of all his blackmail powers and then Trump will be freed to make america great again, again.
If it's real it will be devastating. Although his hardcore supporters/Obama haters will shrug it off (and probably masturbate feverishly to it), independents and anyone with a modicum of respect left for the presidency will find it beyond the pale.

Im not convinced, truly. What is any different about what is in the video tape and anything else that has come out of his mouth? The pee tape has become a sort of primer topic. It is the wildest, most insane claim in that set of wild claims that is best publicly known as the Steele Dossier. Also, feelings of pride and shame are major factors in Trump’s appeal to certain subsets of his followers.
If it were to prove true, I think the following would as well:
1. There would be a 5-7% shift in the number of people believing all or any other claims about Trump. “If the weirdest story is true, then...” logic. From where he’s starting, that’s a disaster.
2. People who oppose or dislike him would feel that any conspiracy or extreme claim they have bought into is also vindicated, ramping the opposition factor up by more than you might consider possible.
3. He would see a further 2-3% erosion in his base, and a much larger disintegration in his base’s motivation. Also a catastrophe for him, and for the GOP.
Change happens very slowly, and then it happens all at once. The events that trigger that final leap can seem inconsequential, until suddenly they don’t. I think such an event is becoming unavoidable for Donald Trump, with many possible contenders, unless he finds a way to put a full stop to each and every one.
