Frankm's sketch said "Jazzy feel to it"

Joost said "Another bass heavy track"

EDIT: Or... it could also be 'Pendulum'. Frankm's sketch said "I think Jeff is on upright bass here"
My guess it's Pendulum

i just listened to the tour video and it is much slower, but that doesnt mean that it wont pick up to the speed jeff was playing, but i think they could be one in the same

Man, I'm so excited to hear Infallible.

Edit: yeah, Jeff's music and the tour vid appear to be entirely different, but that doesn't mean much.

It looked to me like he was improvising until that plane flew over and only began playing the actual bass part afterwards

that intro could easily lead into what Jeff is playing... and I'm very excited for that.

Yeah there was definitely a change there.

the part after the plane flies over definitely sounds like its in the same key as the tour announcement intro

no not really but Jeff could just be playing it at a different speed. Also the thing about that intro clip is that it feels like it could go anywhere

I don't think so. It may be a different part but they don't go together.

True. That's also one of the things that are bugging me about Pearl Jam. They may start a song sometimes with an interesting chord progression but suddenly switch to something entirely different instead of building a melody around those chords. Take Severed Hand for example. There are a few others as well.

Yes! I remember the first time I heard Severed Hand and thought at the begining..."This is going to be epic!" And then the whole thing changed! lol I still love the song but damn...what could have been.

He's hiding out until we hopefully forget that he's meant to be getting a Sirens clip today.

At least in GSMF that progression returns later on (the end jam I think?), but MYM for sure. That bugs the hell out of me too.
