I will watch this episode tonight after work. And then I will go back and read Ruddo's spoilers. Especially the one in which I am namedropped. I promise to dispute it regardless of the posts merits and/or how I feel about the ep (and whether or not Ruddo is right).

We’re off to the races now.
Deborah chow did such a brilliant job. It may as well have been clone wars story wise. But in the best way.

If we got *that* what the fuck are they getting ready to spring on us.

This is just fantastic fun. All of it.

dime, you mentioned the blackman beyond podcast earlier, have you listened to it yet? Marc goes into more detail on his feelings on the show and it's an interesting conversation. Says that since he was looking at it from the perspective of a grown adult, he had expectations that were not met. He readjusted those expectations for a children's show (what Star Wars is all about!®) and it's much better.

I did hear that. Meh. I don’t know him or his work apart from being Kevin’s sideman.
I loved his take on it though. And hated it. It patronizing in a way and true in a way.

He sounds pissed they just hanemt hired him tbh. He’s been like that a while tho.

When the New Republic was mentioned, Mando said "that's a joke". Interesting.

If he never removes his helmet, how does he eat?

Did I see Zuckuss, Endo, and Boussh [R.I.P.]?
Possibly. I thought
Spoiler: show
I saw 4-LOM a couple of times.

E.H. Ruddock wrote:So, a few more thoughts. And in them it will cover why I think Joey won't like this episode and the direction this is going:
Spoiler: show
I love that he is now the bounty, and that the other Mandalorians will be involved. They may be making this about Mandalore a lot more now (which is why Joey may not like it). Also, that scientist didn't want it harmed, so I wonder if we will hear from him again.

The only thing that bothers me is the whole helmet thing. Not removing their helmets isn't a "Mandalorian Way". We saw plenty of them without their helmets on in Clone Wars and Rebels.
But,
Spoiler: show
we have no idea what happened to any of them since Rebels. Looks like things may have changed a bit for them.

There’s a few million dedicated mando cosplayers out there been smiling ear to ear the last three weeks.

I think today there’s been a constant roar of joy from them around the world after this episode :)
So badass.

They’re always the thing I’m least interested in in Star Wars. This has changed that.

And how.

With such short episodes though...im still unsure about where this story might go and what it all is supposed to be about.....

It’s all leading up to BY being handed over to Luke.

Count on it.

Doubt me? Hamill hasn’t even tweeted once about the show. And he’s been getting asked.

Well its just an interesting time frame in that this is the first live action or cartoon that bridges the gap from ROTJ and Force Awakens.

BY does not exist in the new trilogy so really what might the point be in all of that?

Im excited to find out where this goes. Do not get me wrong!
