Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I've never watched Between Two Ferns with any regularity. I've seen clips here and there. But this trailer made me laugh.

The Spy was pretty disappointing.

Sacha was great and the color palette they used was awesome, but the pacing was so dull and uninspired. A drama-less spy drama.

Watching Love, Death, Robots on Netflix. An animated mostly horror anthology. The writing isn't great, but the effects are kind of amazing. They surpass most movies I've seen lately.

The first episode is the worst one, and the second isn't much better (though it does have one of the most terrifying images I've ever seen.) Some of the later ones are great though.

I mean, it's terrifying and then you think about what you had been watching the main character do prior to that point and then you think about that image and it gets worse and then he goes back in? That's the kind of sci-fi horror that lives up to the name.

There are way more bad than good, that's for sure, but it's all relative to your tastes anyway. For example: I really like John Scalzi's short stories so of course I (mostly) liked the three shorts that were based on his works; the Hitler one was poorly done but that was more the animation studios fault than the stories.
