Punctuation can be used stylistically to convey tone and emotion. Ending a question with a period is sometimes done to communicate curtness. You should know this!

For me right now having this end point of hopping on a plane to Italy in 8 weeks is driving me. But I am oh so goddamn much looking forward to just
stopping for a while.
Thanks! It helped. But then things got very busy again. I'm taking a nice trip later this week and hopefully it'll help reset me a bit. It's been a heck of a year in terms of output.
