Nice to see Brian Posehn headlining something.
That looks uncomfortably awkward. I love it.

My suspicion is that this one is for the Spike Lee fans, but not for everybody else. But yea, it looks bonkers, which is where Lee usually thrives.
I'm not a huge Spike Lee fan. But I am a huge fan of Aristophanes. And the trailer looks on fucking point.
Jennifer Hudson is a dumpster fire of an actress. This trailer is the only thing I've ever seen where she looks even remotely believable as a person. And she looks GREAT. If Spike Lee figured out how to teach Jennifer Hudson how to act, then that should be his legacy. He deserves every award imaginable.

I have little doubt that Chi-raq will be unwatchable.

I'll never be able to pin him down. And that's a-okay, by me. To each their own. But I'm pretty excited about Chi-Raq.

Did you see Da Sweet Blood of Jesus? Yikes. I couldn't even finish it. But I didn't like Ganja & Hess either, so that probably didn't help.

I'm not a huge Black fan, actually. But he's done some good work. Primarily the pussy joke from Predator.
