I would've preferred a club show for this run but you can't always get what you want.

Seems plenty of festival tickets still available which doesn't bode well for other shows, unfortunately.

Really looking forward to seeing these guys again but it would be great to catch them outside of the festival environment one day. I guess they worry about their drawing power if they were to tour alone down here? A Queens/NIN-type double-headline thing is probably the only way I can see them doing it (or, of course, smaller venues).

Cornell told the crowd at their most recent BDO appearance on the Gold Coast that they couldn't wait to come back and do their own tour.

Obviously he hadn't yet run that past Eddie Vedder before opening his big trap.

Many have tried, all have failed. I've come to realize that the only way we're getting any of his tapes is if he wants them out. And if he doesn't, it's useless.

If the guy wasn't so public about what he has it'd be one thing. But going so far as to maintain a site with setlists and actual audio samples is basically taunting. We could use an ace B and E man, yeah.

listening to King Animal for the first time since it's came out, and when "Non-State Actor" started, I thought that PJ's "Olé" had somehow gotten placed in the mix. Matt counts off in the exact same way.

And it's nice to finally have a quality version of it, the version I've had is (obviously) years old and sonically sounds very dated. Suddenly more pumped for this release.....
