Never gave Jerry solo a chance. This fucking post right here made me put it on. Thanks, dude. The title track is my favorite thing I’ve heard from anyone in a long time. The whole thing is great. Wish he was coming to Minneapolis.MattA75 wrote:I'm still in love with Brighten...such a great record

I fucking love Brighten. Really bummed he didn't reschedule the Florida shows he canceled due to Covid. I was really looking forward to that. The Atlanta one is on a Tuesday too which isn't the least bit convenient. I actually think Brighten might be my favorite of his solo albums. Prism of Doubt, Black Hearts and Evil Done and Nobody Breaks You are probably my favorite.MattA75 wrote:I'm still in love with Brighten...such a great record

I'm with you...it's definitely my favorite of his solo albums and a big reason I'm going to a second show after seeing him last spring (though I doubt it can live up to seeing him at the Moore in Seattle, LOL)veddar10 wrote:I fucking love Brighten. They started right at 6pm on the dot. Thankfully we got there on time.VinylGuy wrote:yeaaaaah
come back with a review!
BC Place is massive … cavernous. Part of the roof lets light in so it wasn’t dark when the set started, kinda weird. I didn’t realize how far away our seats were gonna be.
They sounded fucking great. Short set though, only like 10 songs which was too bad. Hoping they come back through Seattle again soon at a much smaller venue. We are lucky they kept going after Layne.
