3 noteworthy items for your amusement:

- Lots of points scored for making a bold statement and upsetting the MAGA crowd, many of whom had no idea they were being owned in that moment.

- no potty words.

- Uncle Samuel L. was a stroke of genius.

That half time show was absolutely brilliant. Pure art. Genius and so unbelievably satisfying. I might watch it every day until the next Super Bowl.

I imagine he can't under advice of council.

All I understood was that there were Playstation buttons on the field. Or Xbox? I don't know

Soundgarden should be removed from the title of this thread.

Maybe a stupid question, but what's Kendrick's basis for claiming that Drake is a pedo? Did he just put this out there in the universe through "Not Like Us" or is this a not so well-kept secret in the industry?

I guess this is what the defamation case hopes to resolve?

I just wish his new songs were better. Just don’t like the beats at all.
How about the jeans?

What's Drake's basis for saying that Kendrick Lamar beat his fiancé or that that his child was fathered by another man?

Lol, drake said that? That definitely helps me understand Kendrick putting those allegations out there.

The full context goes deeper.

The lyric is actually "And Baca got a weird case, why is he around, certified loverboys, certified pedofiles"

This is in reference to long time Drake associate Travis Savory, aka Baca, who in 2014 faced charged of human trafficking, procurement of prostitution, and assault (the trafficking and procurement charge we're ultimately dropped after the woman at the center on the case declined to testify against Baca, though he did plead guilty to assault).

Within that is a reference Drake's friendship with Millie Bobby Brown when she was 14 (Brown has said they were no sexual or romantic overtones to their relationship) and an old clip of Drake kissing and hugging a 17 year old fan he brought up on stage in one of his concerts.

It's a hit on Drake and his crew and Drake's historically high approval rating among women.

Ya know, while watching the halftime show, I was thinking it was maybe pretty good. But I have no frame of reference for this kind of music/performance, so I wasn't really sure. I loved Sam Jackson as Uncle Sam, and the line "the revolution is about to be televised...." made it seem significant.
