Definitely the latter with the caveat that they aren't blaming Putin but his top generals/ minister of defence. Apparently sunrise in Rostov is 4:30 AM which is why we are getting daylight footage already.

It's got to be awkward to be Glenn Greenwald right now. Prighozin is directly rejecting the official Russian casus belli. He's kind of rhyming with it though (Shoigu and others indifferent to the loss of Russian soldiers/ willing to target Russian civilians vs. Ukraine shelling civilians in the Donbass for 8 years)

Prighozin, famous for using convicts in human wave attacks is clearly very concerned about Russian lives in general. He pins the real reason for invading Ukraine on being an opportunity for the oligarchs to plunder the country, which is kind of beyond what most western critics would say. They really do want Ukraine in their sphere of influence permanently. I assume all of his statements are for a domestic audience, but perhaps not

Can someone explain why this good? Why is toppling Putin (owner of thousand upon thousands of nukes) this way being presented as a good thing? This Wagner guy a global war criminal, will he surrender power like George Washington?
