To be honest. Anyone making that completely idiotic argument about luke simply leaves me doubting they even watched the film. It’s right there. He explains it at length. We get three versions of the event that caused it *in the film*. Three!!!

Not only that but this guy also saw his father died in front of when everyone else was happy about it. He builds the Jedi again and fails to bring peace and balance in the galaxy.

No.. i wanted to like it.. I tried.. then I couldn't cause I realized how blatantly stupid it was. I don't care what direction a story goes, as long as it's justified. Even the frogs falling at the end of Magnolia was justified so I'm fine with it.

Rey grew up on a desert planet and obviously had to fend for herself for her entire life. obviously she picked up fighting techniques as seen in many of her early confrontations in TFA.

How does Luke go from never hearing of the force on Monday and using it to blow up a Death Star on Tuesday?
Leia has force abilities in the ot. She hears Luke’s call In Empire. She senses he’s still alive in Jedi. She feels Hans death in TFA.
Reys been living in and around ships her whole life. Alone. So naturally learned to take care of herself in a fight.

That attack was only ever used once before in battle and was banned by the republic centuries before. It’s war. Almost like some lunatics flying planes into buildings never happened before. That’s not allowed. Oh look. They did it.
