How do you all feel about "You Get What You Give" by The New Radicals?

While everything trag said I'm his description of the song is a subjective truth, he is wrong. The song is not very good.

But seriously, it's fine. I don't think about it unless it's on and then I'm mostly thinking about how annoying the singer is.

But the way trag described it makes me wonder why I don't like it more.

I find it fairly inoffensive except for the fact that it immediately gets stuck in my head whenever I see someone wear a bucket hat.

I fucking hate the line "we'll kick your asses!" in that song. So bad.

Interesting. Opinions all over the place about that song. I've seen it hailed as one of the greatest pop songs of the 90s and decried as the worst kind of trash

I had the one with the Yield sign on it back in the late 90s.

I love that new radicals song.

Listening to it now and actually paying close attention, I never noticed how cool the bass line is. It's doing a lot of moving around and coloring, especially in the pre-chorus and the outro

I’d never seen this before… but I realize now maybe I hate this because that dude could be my twin at that age. Seriously handsome guy, but awful song

I've always kind of liked the song.
