Weezer said they were a huge influence on him

I really don't like Perry Farrell's voice. Or his face

He's got that botox mannequin look for sure.
Dig his voice though.

I don't like that song. I don't think I've heard a song of theirs I enjoyed, not that I've probably heard many.

huge fan of Janes...hope Navarro is back soon now with Avery back in the band.
And yes, they were recording something last year.

I'd really like to run in to Duff one day and just sincerely thank him. That's really all I ever do ever meeting anyone famous but lord his would be damn sincere.

yeah, he seems like a great dude. Kinda weird he recorded with Janes and was announced as the new bassist and then left. Maybe Gnr was already in the horizon...i dont know.

Ocean Size is a hell of a song. I could go the rest of my life without hearing Jane Says again.

Yeah and Three Days was always a favorite. They have a good 10-15 really great songs. I would also put in a plug for the second Porno for Pyros album.

I listened to Pets recently for first time in about 20 years. It’s even better than I remember and doesn’t fall off as much in the second half. Call it a classic.

I’m not into Phish. I like Billy Breathes but I can’t name another album.
But if you told me Tweezer (reprise) is the high water mark of humanity, well.

Is Mike Gordon a pedo? Or just spectral as fuck?
Haven't listened to Phish since that story broke either way.

I suppose you've still got adept researcher Pete Townsend cold chillin' too.
Why can't cunts just be normal?

I listened to all the Phish studio albums in a journey maybe a year or two ago and was surprised how much of it I enjoyed. Billy Breathes was the first of their albums I really got into, A Picture or Nectar and Hoist are also really great early albums in their career. Farm House is also great and maybe the most accessible of their albums. Round Room and Undermind were both surprisingly good for them being in their on and off hiatus era. The newest 3 albums, Fuego, Big Boat, and Sigma Oasis are all as good at least as their earlier stuff, but I think they are maybe an even better studio band now than then.
Live is another animal, and I am about a week or so away of tackling one of two big Phish runs as part of the Essential Live Albums journey with a Pearl Jam run sandwiched between. I will have a lot more to say after that.
