Re: Anybody want a Corona?
Sorry, my post was confusing. I agree. Anytime you have something that is 99.999% safe, it shouldn’t be a debate. So unless these countries know something not covered in the article it does not make sense to risk more COVID deaths by stoping vaccinationsE.H. I say this but it appears a few more nations are halting or considering:

Maybe there is more adverse safety data we just don’t see yet?

...and Canada is up to 3 million doses given in total. Look to the EU and Canada for the downside of public health care. There needs to be a private insurance and healthcare or well intentioned goes to shit.spike wrote:wow, 4.6 million vaccinated in the states today.

UK appears to be beating the US.

Of course, I don't know how Gibraltar has vaccinated 140% of their population.

I think it's 140 instances of shots as part of a two shot regimen per 100 peeps. Like a count of free throws.B wrote:UK appears to be beating the US.

I figure we're winning right now, but at some point, we're going to stop .... 45%-60% or so ... and every other country's gonna keep going to 90%.

Don't be so sure about that. I've seen lots of articles lately explaining how the EU pretty much leads the world in anti-vaxxers.B wrote:I figure we're winning right now, but at some point, we're going to stop .... 45%-60% or so ... and every other country's gonna keep going to 90%.

Team B on this one. A full 10-20% of the US population is ignorant and proud, and will surely fuck us over. Just look at the beaches in Florida right now.

Also, I don't see what's "ignorant and proud" about going to the beach.

Spring Break has got a high chance of setting back the progress where made over the last 60 days. We are so close to stopping to stopping this thing. So close. Just two more months and we will have herd immunity level vaccination.4/5 wrote:Don't come in here with your anti-shark propaganda.verb_to_trust wrote:Going to the beach is pretty dangerous.
