They (HDTGM crew) got one or two things wrong and I was surprised they didn't mention how buff "Billy Zane" got during the fight scenes. I mean, that was the most blatant "we're not even going to try" stunt work I've seen in big budget movies.

That said it was a hilarious episode.

Stilted, awkward, somewhat cloying at parts, weirdly tone-deaf, kind of artless in its direction, not particularly insightful or illuminating. I can appreciate the way it came together and think the concept is novel and could be interesting but the end result was disconcertingly desultory and conservative. Easily my least-favorite Linklater movie so far.
