I’ve heard getting Botox injected/sprayed in your nose can help with allergies. My wife is considering it.

They’ve actually never bothered me as bad as they have this year. I’ve been on a steroid nasal spray for a few years now and it has always helped. I’ve not had it for about 2 months due to pharmacy/insurance issues but was finally able to get it again yesterday. Hopefully it’ll help get me over this shit.

Stupid and run down. I’ve had a head cold all weekend, while trying to process and keep straight a rental agreement on our city property and potentially our lake property, fielding buyer questions on the lake property, and dealing with the county and multiple plumbers on a sewage backup issue at the lake property. It’s all coming fast and furious today, as apparently the entire world shuts down for Mother’s Day.

Good news is we got a rental offer $1000/month over what we asked, bad news is they are asking to move in June 23 instead of July 1. I think we can make that work, it’s just another thing to think about on top of a small mountain of other things.

Fortunately, my wife seems to be able to think about this stuff 24/7. I cannot.

The life and troubles of a wealthy man!

Just kidding. In a similar boat with moving buying/selling our palce and being the one coordinating all of it including the actual move.

yesterday was mothers day, which sucks for me as i lost my mom a couple years ago. On top of that, we finally took a big leap into packing stuff up. Lots of emotions came up about leaving mountain life and going back to a more "normal" world in Minnesota and the whole uncertainty of work/finances, making sure my wife feels supported and excited about another packing up her life and starting over situation.

life!

Yeah the emotions doing all this stuff triggers makes it a real slog. It’s hard to even see the other end, the exciting part. I haven’t had a minute to think about Australia lately, it’s all just shutting shit down stateside.

We’ll both get there. Just try to get good sleep, don’t stress drink and eat too much, so we’re at optimal condition to handle all the curveballs.

it all works out but getting there sucks ass...we have to leave tomorrow and go back to the place we just moved from to take care of the owners dog for 2 weeks while they go to Portugal..this was an agreement we made months ago and we kind of forgot about it..and while there we have to go to Canada and get my in-laws to stay with us for 5 days..they are in their mid 80s and do not have nexus for boarding crossing so the wait time is going to suck..anyway, spike, Strat and Doug need some drinks this week

This is what having kids is like, except you can’t go to bed until they do.

I thought I was getting over this head cold two days ago but it’s come back with a vengeance. Really, I think I just need a good night’s sleep, and NyQuil isn’t cutting it, so I’ll pop an Ambien later and sleep in the basement (kid kicked me out of our bed around 3am last night).
