Giving LeTang a contract like that would be insane, he's a 3rd line forward scoring playing defense.

he is actually a good defenseman when he soley plays it, the problem is he pinches too much leaving others in vulnerable positions.
id say id be ok with 4.5-5 but no way 7

yeah, I'd say the description above (from numbers) fits more to a guy like Mike Green than Letang
either way, I don't think I want to be in a position where Letang is my best defenseman

From what I saw of letang this post season, he should get a contract like that, If Streit got 5.25 for 4 years. Letang will be overpriced, but worth more. I hear the isles are tryin to work a trade for the kings back up goaltender, is he any good?

No goals in the 3rd. Game ends 4-3. You guys can turn off your tv sets or switch to Duck Dynasty.

Crawford's gotta get that glove side under control. Rask wasn't good, but he also didn't have an obvious hole.

That old quote about if they played 100 games each team would win 50 rings true here. Game 7 comes down to an OT goal.

I didn't like the impression folks seemed to have that game four was an elimination game, and I feel like I have to convince people that the series is actually tied.

It kind of felt like a game 7 to me. If we lost and were down 3-1 it would have been really tough to win 3 in a row. We did it against Det, but Boston is much better and not sure we'd have been able to do it. The Hawks came out much more prepared and with more intensity and the results showed in goals. And Boston had an answer for all of it.
This is going 7 games. I'm not sure if I can take it. What an incredible fucking ride!

really? b/c i don't see the bruins sustaining the beating they've taken this year over a full season. they've still only played 68 games to this point. the NHL is such a grind... i love it.

Yeah? Maybe there woulda been another injury, here or there. But the compacted schedule still wore them out. No?
