As someone who is fascinated by the natural behavior of the dregs of society (aka your average NFL fan), I click stuff like that. And everyone knows the best part of Deadspin is the comments, which are often amazingly hilarious/offensive.

Was hoping Tennessee would win tonight as they need a QB as well. Would like some breathing room for the #1 pick for the Bucs.

This is one of those rare times when a Cowboys fan wants Washington to win...

I love Deadspin and that whole media group...Gawker, io9, lifehacker, etc. Comments on stories are sometimes better than the stories. Entertaining stuff; wish they pushed out more content on the weekends (well, deadspin does).

That game was better than I thought it would be. This is where I need to say that Kevin Harlan is the most underrated NFL announcer in the business and needs to be way higher up on CBS's pecking order. Always giving you excellent details through the game, and he closed it out strong by noting that the Eagles needed to let them score to have the best chance to win. Real surprised that Chip Kelly didn't do that.

Holy Shit.

I was so afraid when I was arguing for leaving the seeding system the way it is that the Lions were going to get screwed by it.

last night on twitter Lament and I were discussing why Lions fans feel as tortured as we do. I wish I could properly describe it.

Hopeful. And that i think is the crux of the problem. The last 30 years have almost always felt hopeful on some level. So many coaching/GM/QB changes lead to constant hope for renewal that never has come. So even success just feels like a more elaborate set up for disappointment.

I liked that line, so i tweet it.

I'm pretty impressed with how the Vikings are playing so far. That's a team that could surprise in 2015 if they get a few more pieces.
