Hudson and Cone were on a list (with 3 other guys) for my 5th spot in my rotation. Hopefully the other 3 are not gone.
There is a relief pitcher I'm shocked is still on the board.

You realize you only need 4 starters?

Well yes. Since it's a 7 game series. IIRC I believe someone said it was ok if we carried 5 starters.

Do what you want. Lament said before that you only need to rest your pitchers 3 games between starts. I think I'd rather have my best guy start game 5 of a series than have a 5th starter do it.

Man, I really wanted Wagner for my next pick.

Hmmm. I don't recall him saying that. Makes sense I though.

You can carry as many as you'd like. Kaius already has five.
I think I'm gonna go with four starters and like nine relief pitchers myself.

Yeah, your guy who starts game 1 can start game 5 as well. And you have the option of starting someone with only 2 games between once during the playoffs (so use it wisely).
I had said we'd reset the rotations at the start of each new round too. Everyone is ok with that, right? Or should we say whoever started the last game of the previous series can't start till game two of the next one?

Was on my list as well. Very underrated.

I'm cool with resetting.

I wanted to make sure I had a strong lefty in the pen so I went with Franco.

This is more realistic but I'm cool with either way.
So if you have someone like say Randy Johnson you can't have him pitch game 1,4 and 7 correct?

You could do same pitcher games 1 and 5 every series, but one series you could have that guy also pitch game 7.

Chud, you could use Lowe as closer on days he's not starting a la Grady Little.

Can't you put guys who are normally starters in your pen? I've been operating under this assumption the whole time. I don't see anything in the header post that says your relievers must be relievers in real life...am I totally wrong here?

Lowe is a very interesting guy as far as this tourney goes. My eye was on him for sure with all those ground balls and Boone and Larkin up the middle.
