New Shane Gillis Netflix special is out. If you haven’t seen his YouTube special, start there. This guy has made me laugh the hardest since Louis CK’s “Shameless”/“Chewed Up”/“Hilarious” run. He’s going to be huge.

Trag, you’ll love this guy.

It's true, his YouTube special is very good. I watched it for first time last week and will watch the Netflix tonight. He somehow knows how to do politics without actually making it pro trump or biden etc. I highly recommend his YouTube special.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Correct. His closing bit on the YouTube special murders. Also, what his dad calls “Hidden Figures” made me laugh like Mr. Belding on Saved by the Bell.

My 13 year old has been watching Seinfeld all summer. Tonight I’m taking him to see Seinfeld at the Orpheum. I’m pretty excited.

You’re talking about Seinfeld here, correct?

Honestly, I didn’t think Seinfeld would be up your alley.

Saw Nate Bargatze last night. Flawless. Less than 5 comedians have ever made it to his level being "clean". Seinfeld and Gaffigan only other two. I can think of.

Seinfeld is always "touring". He does 20+ weekends a year. It's his life.

We saw Bargatze last year. I’m obsessed with him. He Is so funny. Watch his older stuff, the Starbucks stories and the stories about the serpentarium in Wilmington NC. His delivery is so fantastic

He is the current king of comedy. His tour schedule for the past year plus now has been insane. He’s making hay while the sun shines. I can’t imagine this tempo is sustainable. He also seems to be tackling the Louis endeavor of trying to do a new hour every year. Idk. I hope he finishes up Be Funny and rests a bit. He’s going to have a wealth of material when his daughter Harper hits her teenage years. I skipped this tour so I’m looking forward to when the Be Funny special comes out.

Yah, I was saying to my wife on way home one of the the reasons why he's so good is his delivery. It's perfect. I watch so much comedy and it's something remarkable. I think he did an "uh" once and it was planned. Every line is spaced just right.

I do think he's trying to strike while iron is hot but he is going to be huge for years to come. He's very much like a Jim Gaffigan, in many ways. I think Gaffigan has like 10 hours. Will be the same thing with Bargatze. It's pretty rare a comedian can do no politics and be "clean" and be at these levels. Like I said, there are less than 5 of them.
