Mrs Wease really liked it as well. She thought the fennel was just ok, meaning it’ll all be for me next time. We’re gonna have to come up with another veg to have so she’ll have a side next time we have it.

my wife speaks French quite well but is starting advanced classes tonight...while she's gone for 2 hours I'm making a couple croque monsieur along with a tin of smoked mussels and grilled peaches for when she gets home...husband of the year

Nice one. My wife loves tinned smoked mussels too, but I can’t stand em. Fresh mussels are delicious.

I keep meaning to make this in our Thermomix. Looks super easy. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

Gonna grill a flatiron steak this evening. Made a rub of salt, pepper, roasted garlic powder, cumin and smoked paprika. Got some broccolini to sauté in oil and garlic.

Yessir. Kinda food truck style, I guess. Air fryer does perfect baked potatoes in about 45-50 mins, which has been an absolute gamechanger. Split em open and do the butter thing, then a mountain of hot chili w/ sour cream. Unreal.
