Obvious Child.

Man, what a waste. The premise is cool, the idea might be nice...but its garbage. ¨funny, hip¨ characters that dont make sense, an awful cast and a stupid script. Oh, and not a single cool shot.

would have been much better. They would have had to cut out a lot of stuff and focus more. And the practical effects would have been amazing...

Just saw the new restoration of Multiple Maniacs. It's a masterpiece. Instantly my favorite John Waters movie.

The book is definitely better. But the film is wonderful. It follows the book faithfully for the most part; the soul of the thing is there. And it's beautiful animation. As a tremendous fan of the book (one of my favorites) I'd absolutely recommend the movie.

there's a 4:45 showing of the jungle book and a 6:40 showing of x-men apocalypse at the $1.50 theater...i'm going to take a short lunch and leave early to catch jungle book, and if the mood strikes and time permits i'll also see x-men

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
