I've really upped my rice game recently, team. I've been going through all the steps, and it's really paying off. Rinsing the fuck out of it, cooking aromatics in some oil on the bottom of the pan first, toasting the dry rice before adding water, using bouillon instead of plain water, etc etc. It's more work, but I'm never going back to being lazy about this.

bouillon in rice is clutch. Even if you are just cooking it in a rice cooker. I've found a good mushroom one that makes rice delicious.

I’ve been using stock or broth for rice for a while. Haven’t tried bouillon.
