For example do we ever hear something like… EADG being plucked on the left while BE are being plucked on the right, from a single performance?
Absolutely. Frank Zappa was doing this in the 70's but with routed pickups. Here is an example with an acoustic-electric he was fond of:

In concert, he would split his guitar between a Pignose and a Marhsall with slight delay and then mix them in stereo later:

Tom Waits talked about hitchhiking when he was still a folk singer and getting a ride from Eden Ahbez, the composer of Nature Boy. I started reading about him and ended up watching a Nat King Cole documentary from youtube where I learned that Nat recorded three albums in Spanish, but didn't actually speak the language. To quote his friend: "He learned Spanish phonetically, he didn't know what the hell he was talking about" :haha:

So this is only available on Paramount+, which isn't available here.

I am big sad. Kind of want to support this in hopes that there'll be a second season.

I've got first world problems out the ass, fellas.

On "It Was a Very Good Year," when Frank Sinatra is recounting how good his 35th year was, it always makes me laugh how he pronounces the word "kegs."

"From fine old... kKEGS!"

I think I have a pretty high tolerance when it comes to different types of music, but I absolutely hate the kind of acapella music where they imitate the instruments or they make these stupid dum dum dum sounds. I wanna cut my ears off when I hear that stuff :haha: Here's one example:

Kinda seems like a fusion of barbershop quartet and looped beatboxing. There's a lot worse music out there!

It really is one of the worst forms of music.

You know what's better than a goofy tall guy in the back making some approximation of the sounds of a bass guitar? A BASS GUITAR!

I mean there's definitely a novelty appeal for me in seeing how these instrumental parts get "translated" to the human voice but it's not something I can bear to listen to for long
