Currently at the eye doctor with Mrs Wease waiting for an emergency work-in. The vision in her right eye just turned into black splotches last night. She compared it to the Mario Kart when someone throws the oil slick on your screen. We called the on-call service last night and he told her to be here first thing, so here we are.

I have a dental cleaning scheduled for 9:30 this morning, then work from home the rest of the day. I may just go ahead and mow and get that out of the way for the weekend. New weedeater arrived day before yesterday so I can finally get trim work out of the way.

Dang do they have any idea what caused that?

The doc last night said it could either be floaters or a detached retina. Won’t know until he gets to take a look.

That’s what we’re hoping. Surgery is the only way to fix it and that will fuck up a lot of upcoming plans. Not the least of which is Chicago next weekend for PJ.

My dad had surgery for one and recovered quite well and is pretty much normal, so if you need a positive outcome there you go!

Looking like a tear vs detached. We’re now waiting on the king of the practice to determine if they can repair it or if they need to refer to the retina specialists.

She saw the main guy and he sent her over to the retina specialist while I was at the dentist. They drove her over there and now I’m with her waiting for the specialist to come in.
