Good luck to...well, everyone really.
Sitting here at 11am on a wet and windy Friday, just counting the hours to beer o'clock.
Just over two hours to go buddy!
Enjoy your weekend Rangi!
Busy weekend with kids sport and junk, birthday parties - and a movie with mate tomorrow night. You enjoy yours when it rolls around
This all fell apart. We are the house of Covid

NYC day
weather is bizarrely amazing / low humidity for this time of year
Sitting here at 11am on a wet and windy Friday, just counting the hours to beer o'clock.
Just over two hours to go buddy!
Enjoy your weekend Rangi!

I'm mostly all good - the wife always gets hammered with Covid and has been in bed most of the day sleeping.

My 14-year-old daughter and I decided to go to the Tigers / White Sox game last night (we’re Tigers’ fans). Just the two of us. Bought last-minute tickets from Stubhub for dirt cheap. It was awesome. We ate hot dogs and churros, talked Chappel Roan and Charli XCX and how she’s counting down the days until our Billie Eilish concert in November, had amazing seats right on the Tigers dugout, saw the Tigers smoke the Sox, and were home by 9:15 game. The best.

woke up early, went to my moms, took my dog for a walk.
Went to my brother's house (actually my house but he is renting it), said hi to my dad because of his birthday (it was on monday). My two little nieces were there so i just spent my whole stay playing with them. So much fun really. Of course i only stayed for an hour, a good amount of time to be around kids.
Went back to moms, took out my dog again and then came back to my place to watch soccer.

Took my girls to Denver yesterday to see Wicked. A couple of bitches took our seats and wouldn’t move. It was so weird they completely refused to move! So we had to sit in their seats stuffed at the end of the wow. My daughter decided to inconvenience the entire row after that, by needing to go to the aisle periodically to ‘stretch her legs.’
I completely understand the Wicked witch’s reasons now.

Why didn’t you just go to the staff and have them make these people move?

humans are a terrible species
it is just that simple
treasure the 2 or 3 you meet that have kindness, humility, and selflessness
the rest belong in the oven

Because there wasn’t staff person available at the time. And we had already gotten through the row to the open seats before we were able to see the seat numbers. Some things aren’t worth the larger confrontation by calling over staff after receiving indifference and stuck up shitty looks from shitty people.
